Michael Schunke, a glass master uses transparent colors in a skillful way. He buys the clear glass in its raw material form, called batch. He forms the material on a thick steel plate called marver. He then cuts and shapes the glass to form the shapes. Saturated jewel tones and color interactions are the foundation of Nine Iron design, his studio. With pitchers below overlapping two colors create an unique blended colors.
